Veterans Program

Raising A Standard, Inc. understands that our veterans need tools to help them to succeed while overcoming where they are in life.  Our Life Skills Program WRAP services around each person that will allow them to become successful and take ownership on their journey in life.   Life skills are vital tools that empower our participants to achieve personal growth,  learn positive behaviors, and gain independence. These tools will allow Veteran to  develop skills as part of a grander goal of self-awareness and understanding.  This will allow a shift or change of mindset that will raise a standard and the Veteran will  be able to break the cycle of homelessness.

RAS Life Skills Program focus on the  following areas: • Intensive therapeutic case management  Increase skills and confidence in areas of: budgeting, health and wellness, mental health, employment, educational goals, and financial stability. • Individual and group therapy opportunities  Crisis support, stress management, coping skills, and self-awareness skills to enhance individual growth and achievement. Specialized topics include: parents in recovery, expressive arts, mindfulness, and relapse prevention.
